Is there a ratio for viewing distance? My viewing distance on my 50" plasma is roughly 14 ft and it seems when I get to around 12 ft I start noticing distortion. I'm wondering if I'm not cutting it a little too close. Thanks!

I'm looking for a touchscreen manufactorer outside of Elan? I'm starting to preplan my DMS setup and I'd like to throw on in my bedroom and connect it to my DMS.

I bought the 50" about 3 weeks ago and I'm flat out in love. The color and detail, especially for HD, is just sick. The only complaint that I have about the TV is the remote. I'm not a fan of it, but it's serviceable.

I'm in the process of ordering a HTPC, and it comes with a HDTV card. My tv is HDTV ready and I'm using my cable company provided cable card to watch HDTV. So am I missing something when I'm thinking that I don't need this HDTV card?

I'm running a new 15 AMP circuit dedicated for my HT. Does anyone make some type of hardwired surge protection? I would love to be able to wire it into the breaker box or a junction box. I'm not impressed with all of the plug in types I'm seeing and I'm hoping that there's an alternative. Thanks.

Are these things that good? I'm in line to get either a SVS or a Klipsch 12", but my wife is not very happy with the prices I've been paying for the new HT system. The room I'm putting this stuff into is a bit of a toughy, so now I'm thinking of grabbing two of these.
