Last year there was an article with 2 projector reviews, and it stated there would be a follow-up with some more reviews and comparisons. Is this ever going to happen? Just curious. Ken
I just saw that someone mentioned a Stryke Audio SAE 1201 for $100 U.S. and a 380 watt plate amp for $155. I don't see anything comparable to that at CSS unfortunately.
I see the prices you guys are mentioning on these parts (U.S. dollars I assume), and I wonder, is there anywhere in Canada that sells these types of things? I've been to Creative Sound Solutions web site, but I find the prices are too high. Any thoughts? Ken
Dustin, where did you get your blackout cloth? I need to build a screen, I'm considering the Formica like Neil, but I wouldn't mind checking out the blackout as well.
And the DVI input doesn't hurt either. I found the Z1 at HALF the cost of the Panny in Toronto, and even $1000 less thatn the 200U, so that was a no-brainer. I love the Z1, I barely notice any screen door, MUCH better than I expected. You're not making a bad decision either way, that's for sure.

Does anyone know of a place in Canada, or Toronto specifically, where some of these things can be purchased? I haven't found anything at Radioshack. Ken
I can definately wait until September. My basement isn't even finished yet! I've found the Epson Powerlite S1 at Costco up here, so I may give it a try and see how it compares to the Infocus. It's an LCD projector, so no rainbows. Ken
Hey all, Thanks for the comments, and getting back on topic. To update, I went to NBT Electronics and saw the Panny in action (Thanks John), and I was quite impressed. It was better than I thought it would be. Now, I have had the good fortune of being able to bring an Infocus X1 home for a...
Thanks for the info guys. One other projector has been thrown into the mix at the $4000 Canadian price range... The NEC LT-240. Any thoughts on that one, compared to the other two? Ken
