I often go at brmovie.com hoping for some news. But nothing since march 2004. Now they say «Blade Runner Special Edition DVD News Being Updated: May 2005» But it's been that way for more thant 10 days... If they have something new, they should hurry a bit.

No I am positive there is one. I'm at work and can't say exactly where but there is one. With my sony player, with the display, I can see where the laser is and on witch layer (0 or 1) And on this movie, at the layer change there is absolutely no pause at all. Like if my player had a buffer!

I wonder why my sony player is not freezing at all on the layer change. Normally I can see the lights (ch indicator) on my denon receiver going off for 10 frames (1/3 second) but with this film, not at all. I've seen the same only with another title, Apollo 13 DD.ac3

Can't find Paris, Texas here in Montreal, Quebec. Anybody knows if it will be released in Canada later? I was hoping to find it at thecnl but it's b.o. Forget it. I fount it in Vancouver.

Before april 97, the only softwares avalable were demo disks with only parts of movies. I know that parts of Twister and GoldenEye were used that way. But There was no FIRST dvd. There were something like 30 titles avalable the first day in 5 cities that were used as test market.

I just wanted to say that this dvd is indeed in 1:78 anamorphic and not in 4/3 standard. The infos about this title are all wrong. So if you have a 16:9 display and you hate loosing on the sides, you won't!

Can someone tell if my old Denon avr-5700 can switch a component HDTV signal. I want to buy a new receiver but I'd like to wait for a receiver that will switch HDMI and DVI. Thanks.

I found other infos and it seems that it is widescreen (don't know the exact ratio) but it's not anamorphic... And since I'm watching my dvds on a 96 inches screen, well I don't know. I'll probably end up buying this dvd anyway. I saw DM 5 times and bought at least 3 t-shirts. So that is a lot...

I think this title was supposed to be available a week ago but it's not yet here in Montreal and at theCNL. Is it in the USA ? And did someone wrote a review somewhere ?
