I was at a party and on the radio a very loud harsh band came on the radio. The singer sounded like he was going to blow his voice. Almost at the end of the tune he was screaming "save yourself" Any ideas?

Darren, I have been think about this, I was thinking about getting a small MP3 player. But a lot of CDs I buy now have copy protection etc. I am wondering if I buy a player in a couple of months will I be able to listen to any new music I want to hear?

Why do some preamps have balanced outs but not ins? Is there a gain from going balanced from preamp on? What not go balanced all the way from the source?
