Best color settings for 77" LG C3?

We finally replaced our 9 year old Samsung JS8500 with a new 77" LG C3. I was trying to find an ISF calibrator but was told they don't do the OLED displays because almost everyone complains about how dark they look after calibration. I've been watching with the settings set to "Cinema" and the...

Need a Smart Remote to control my Home Theater...Suggestions?

The URC remotes work very well. I was using one before I purchased and replaced it with the Harmony Elite. The only issue I was having with my URC was it was an older version and no longer as user friendly as the newer version. With URC they also need to be professionally programmed by an...

Need some help troubleshooting my Harmony Elite.

A minor headache for an otherwise fantastic remote. It's been so long since I've wanted to reconfigure anything, and the remote works so well I forgot how to use it. Appreciate you getting me down the right path.

Need some help troubleshooting my Harmony Elite.

I am all up and running now. Seems moving the hub closer to the computer did the trick, thanks!

Need some help troubleshooting my Harmony Elite.

I was able to get everything working using my phone but for some reason I'm still having an issue using the software on my HTPC. For some reason my PC isn't seeing the hub or remote. I'll keep playing around with it and see if I can get the remote to sync using my PC software. Not sure if...

Need some help troubleshooting my Harmony Elite.

I'm having an issue with my Harmony Elite and Hub. Our internet router stopped working and needed to be replaced. After connecting the new router and getting back online I noticed that the light on the Harmony hub is red. I went into the app on my computer and followed the wizard for setting...

Prices have dropped on the Denon 4400H

I have been seeing some significant discounts on the 4400H and have been considering purchasing one to replace my Pioneer SC67. Are there any owners of the 4400H who are unhappy with their choice? Would I be better off to wait for prices to drop on the 4500H? They both seem so close that I...

Combining multiple audio streams to LG SK5Y (for Karaoke)

I'm not sure if this will help you or not but here is how we have our Karaoke system configured. Audio from computer is connected to the Audio "in" inputs on the back of our karaoke machine. Audio is connected to our AVR from the audio "out" on the back of our karaoke machine. Video goes...

It looks like it's time for a new AVR.

Thanks. My 60's aren't true full range. I think paradigm refers to them as 2/1/2 way speakers but I can consider them full range because they can handle bass down to 30 Hz which is lower than many "full range speakers". In my current set up I have my two front speakers bi-amped using an Adcom...

It looks like it's time for a new AVR.

Thanks Sam. Separates will be out of my budget so I'm better off with another AVR. Are you talking about the X3500H? I was wondering if that would have enough juice to drive my speakers adequately. it seems to have all of the features I would need and I like Denon.

It looks like it's time for a new AVR.

Some of you may already be familiar with my 4K issue with my Pioneer SC67. I purchased a 4K DVD player to replace my failing Sony Bluray player and the new player was unable to pass both video and audio through the same HDMI output. To use the player in my system I had to run a second HDMI...

    Help me adjusting my projector

What John said. Squaring up the projector with the wall is probably the most important thing to get right when mounting and adjusting your projector. Everything else can be dialed in using the projectors adjustments and the mount adjustments.

A question for Harmony Elite users.

Thanks for the explanation Brian. That makes perfect sense. I was at BB a few months ago taking a look at the Magnolia gear. The rep was kind enough to spend about an hour letting me audition some nice equipment I had no intention of purchasing. We started talking home theater control and...
