I had one with a Parasound HCA 855A and it did fine. The only problem I had was the excess noise when engaging the active EQ. It was probably a defective unit because it was quite audible even from across the room.

The 2400 has more surround program variations, a learning remote which does macros, and an RS 232 port which COULD enable it to be upgraded to DPLIIx down the line. It is listed as being software upgradable.

Would removing the R27 and R26 resistors eliminate the rumble filter altogether, or would there be adverse effects?
