Rahman was on tour in US and performed in NY yesterday?!?? Too bad I didn't know about this...I've been a casual fan after watching some movies directed by Mani Rathnam that he scored and the songs in "Lagaan" were great.

I know that many people on this thread has mentioned these already but let me give more recommendations on the Mani Ratnam movies: Bombay and Dil Se are really great and very moving. Not only are they entertaining with good songs and storylines but they also stirred very strong emotions...

A Real Young Girl is anamorphic and the pan & scanned option also works. The transfer is very good and, from the ~20 mintues that I've watched, there's no digital enhancements. It's still grainy and soft just like the theatrical print. My only complaint was that the sound volume was set too low...

This problem shows up on my 2 Pioneer players as well. I've also spotted another glitch as well: there's some pixellation around 62:48. Has anyone also seen this? I'm not sure if this is a problem with my disc or not but it doesn't have any scratches on it.
