I'm setting up a friends theater and just had one question. what would give better picture quality, postion the PJ far enough back so that I don't have to use the zoom or bring it forward and use the zoom? PJ is an Infocus 4805 and a 100" screen. No zoom makes more sence to me, but I want...
Every once in a while, more often that I would like, my sub "flutters". I dont know if flutter is the right word or not but it kinda make a continual pa pa pa pa pa sound when there is dialoge in a scene. No one else can here it but my ears are in a lot better tune with my theater than anyone...
Drop ceiling is definatly nice for future mods, but, and this is a big but, do you really want to hear the whole ceiling rattle every time a big bass scene comes up in a movie. Plus you mentioned that your ceiling will be 7', a drop ceiling will lose you another 3-4 inches. No big deal if your 5...
dont know where you could see one in action down there, but a friend of mine just picked up an Infocus 4805 and a 100" 16:9 screen for 2100 canadian. Projector is HD and 16:9 native display and will project up to about 120"
your projector distance to the screen will have to be in the 15-17 foot range to got 110" or better. 100" calls for 12.63'-15.1' from the screen. Of course this info is for the Screenplay 4805
the drywall went up so fast in mine, I forgot to run the wire for my projector. thank god I haven't purchased one yet, cant wait to get it but I'm dreading the wiring. One other thing, I only ran 5.1 not 7.1(duh)
