Well that's just it...I spoke to a friend of mine that said he wanted to get rid of his Phillips MX955. It's an all-in-one unit. Here's a little more info: model number is mx955.....puts out around 50-60 x 5...has sub out....bunch of different sound fields....optical inputs....it'll do the job...

I'm considering purchasing this setup for my small apartment. Has anyone ever heard this unit? It includes 5 speakers and an 8" sub...I believe the total power is somewhere in the 350 watt range. It's not going to blow any doors off...but do you think it's worth $150? Thanks in Advance! Dan

I'm not sure what I 'should' use the component video ins for. If that's where the PS1 or PS2 should go, then probably...other than that...probably not. Pardon my ignorance! Dan
