Yeah I’m not fully buying this especially since the unaltered mono was present on the original DVD release. Someone on another site mentioned that the needed materials to restore the mono was lost in the 2008 Universal fire but even that’s not enough to convince me there was nothing they do...
Pretty sure Bob was involved in the restorations of both sequels (not just the 3D Revenge) so if both films were being presented in lower quality that did not faithfully represent their work he would know. Also I don’t recall anyone making complaints about Walks presentation on this ‘corrected’...
The only thing I can name off hand I thought was better in the Spanish Version was Lupita Tovar did a better job of being in a trance when she goes to Dracula in the backyard better than Helen Chandler did. Aside from that yeah I’ll take the Browning film anyday though the Spanish Version works...

Just keep in mind though in the Legacy set Revenge and Walks are on the same disc so they may not get a separate release down the line. The first Creature film however is available as a separate BD. :)
