I seen a few of the Anna Bocchi episodes on the weekday re-runs and I have to say I really enjoyed them. What they lack is a full season of chemistry between the crew (she only did the first 10 episodes) Andrew and Leslie don't seem as playful as the do in later episodes. But Bocchi's host work...
EZ Streets, definately. I didn't watch any CBS show until Survivor 1, I was that fumed that the show didn't get the shake it deserved.
And then I watched Big Apple, the Ed O'Neil cop drama a couple years back...and that too was promptly canceled.
Damn you CBS.
Cupid, Sports Night...
When they wrote it, they thought they had a season 5 to go ahead and explain everything, so why not end the series on a cliffhanger, every other season has ended on a major cliffhanger. This one just seems a little more severe than being stranded in space (twice). I loved the "to be...
I think anyone who watched Ed O'Neil in Big Apple a few seasons back, is fully aware that the guy can be a serious drama guy....sadly we were a very small bunch since the show didn't last long.
The trailer was made before the Ring opened and no one could have accurately predicted that the Ring would have been as popular as it was, so I strike this up to mere coincidence and both movie drawing from horror movie conventions.

Someone who owns a TiVO! Seriously, the TiVo folks did some amazing work sniffing out the clues in the Mole 2. I'm all for a fellow TV junkie winning this one.
I'm not sure why the rating is such a problem. The fact that the rest of the DEAD films are considered classic has nothing to do with rating. The ability of Romero to create another zombie classic is more troubling than whether or not they'll be an uncut version.
I also like those PSA's that tell people not to drink and drive. But some idiot always does it....and in this case, some idiot always does it too. Commendable move, but I see it having little effect.
It all boils down to te subjective nature of movie reviews. Even though Roger is a pro, like us, there are just those movies that tickle are fancy for one reason or another. The fact that it tickled his and not yours is bound to happen.
One of the things that I miss when I go see a sporting event live is the commentators. There the only thing that gets me through the lulls in the game...and often what's going on, on the field (penalties and the like) aren't always apparent.
