How do people feel about buying open box or floor model versions of these TVs? There have been some good deals that I've seen (yesterday I saw the 42" Sony LCD for $1180), but I'm nervous about the floor models because of the bulb. Any thoughts?

quick question for you guys: on the TV Authority website (http://www.tvauthority.com/DLP-TV-HD...-HL-S4266W.asp), it says that the HLS4266W is capable of 480p, 1080i and 720p. but if the resolution is only 1280 x 720, how can it do 1080i? or can't it?

Like I said, I can see some comparison to Pablo Honey/The Bends era Radiohead, but not to OK Computer, and certainly not to Kid A, Amnesiac or Hail to the Thief. STP has been compared to PJ? I never have thought they sounded even remotely the same.....Pearl Jam just blows them away.

:D As for their piano work, I think Coldplay uses quite a bit more, and it seems that overall they are a bit more mellow than Radiohead. But they are clearly still a ripoff. :D

I can't say I understand the comparisons to Radiohead. Some of Coldplay's stuff sounds like The Bends, but by and large they are much different (and not anywhere near as good as RH), and not nearly as experimental. And I liked A Rush... but I wouldn't have it anywhere close to one of the best...

I agree about the Beatles and Zeppelin. Another band is Radiohead, whose first album was relative crap but everything since has been great. OK Computer was their best, but they've had three since that have been very very good. They've done a great job of dealing with the fame and money, kind of...

I like Soundgarden, but I don't have any of their albums, just the A-Sides disc. That said, I don't like it nearly as much as either of Audioslave's CDs.

I really loved their first CD, too. If you expect a big progression, you'll be disappointed, but if you want more of the last, you'll like it. It's a better album.
