Looking for advice on a new TV: TCL 6 Series vs Vizio P Series or something else?

This cool site believes the Vizio is slightly better than the TCL. https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/vizio/p-series-2018

    Vizio P55 F1 annoying lines

I'm now seeing that same compression when I play DVD's (not Blu-Rays). I watched a screener tonight, and the dark scenes looked terrible. Of course, these discs aren't mastered very well (they're for SAG Awards consideration), but I'm now worried that my TV is defective.

    Vizio P55 F1 annoying lines

I'm using an ethernet cable coming directly from my modem through Spectrum Cable. Can you suggest a better method?

    Vizio P55 F1 annoying lines

I kind of suspected that. But of course, my ISP will deny any responsibility and tell me there is something wrong with my TV.

    Vizio P55 F1 annoying lines

I recently bought this model to replace my old Vizio E-50. Blu-Rays look amazing, and I'm very happy overall with the picture quality. However, I've noticed a recurring issue with some channels, especially Netflix and broadcast TV networks. There is a lot of noise floating in the background that...

Looking for advice on a new TV: TCL 6 Series vs Vizio P Series or something else?

I was also torn between the two models you mentioned. I wound up getting the Vizio P-55 F1 because my previous Vizio (the E series, 50-inch) had served me so well. And the reviews for this model were top notch from every reputable site. Also, I read that the TCL logo on the bottom center of the...

    Best Cinema Smart TV?

How do you think the M series compares with the P? I currently own a Vizio E series, 50-inch. Looking to go to a 55-inch.

    Vizio P55 C1 or F1

I've been comparing these two models online, and they seem almost identical in features. But the C1 is around $500 while the F1 is closer to $800. This will be my first 2160p TV. I currently own a Vizio E series 50-inch that I've had a little over 4 years. I've been very happy with it, but I'm...

Left speaker channel keeps going out

Now the right channel has gone out and the left channel is working. I've done every imaginable troubleshooting tactic I can find. I've switched speaker wires, switched the RCA cable that runs from the TV to the receiver, etc. Nothing is consistent. My BR player only has an HDMI output - no RCA...

Rare Vintage Shows not on DVD

"Sons and Daughters" (1974) had a brief run on CBS and was a lovely show. Not on DVD. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0071056/?ref_=nv_sr_2

Left speaker channel keeps going out

The RCA cables are connecting the audio out from the TV to the back of the receiver. There's no other way to connect the two. There's no HDMI input on the receiver. It's always the left channel regardless of which speaker I'm using.

Rare Vintage Shows not on DVD

I'm still waiting for a complete set of remastered episodes of "One Step Beyond" (1959). Many episodes have been released on DVD, but they look terrible with scratches, missing scenes, and bad audio.
