Try a hot (wet) soapy rag. Use a liguid dish soap.

Or if you have baby wipes in the house, try that.

A rubbing alcohol would work, as would dish soap and a hot water.

i used to have a really bad case of chapped lips. at night i would put vaseline on them before going to sleep.
so, when i got college and entered dorm life....i kept the costco-sized tub of jelly next to my bed. after about 20 or 30 jokes, i decided it would be in my best interest of obtaining and/or maintaining a social life if i hid that thing...

Wax on....Wax off.
Wask with warm water, and then use alchol (or a facial astringent like Oxy or SeaBreeze).

This reminds me of my best Halloween costume of all time.

I was around 10 years old, so my brother and I come up with a great costume. I will be a kid that got struck by lightnining, and he'll carry around a cloud on a wire over my head to complete it, while he's out taking me (he was older, so by this time he didn't dress up, but I'm sure still got candy.)

Hairspray wouldn't keep my hair wild enough, so we loaded it up with vaseline! O

Jesus, it took weeks to get it all out (we're talking at least 1/2 of a decent sized jar.)

Speaking of petroleum jelly, isn't Napalm based on it? What's keeping somebody from making a Vaseline bomb?
