Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, the week of the release (so as to catch any week-of-release sale prices). All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price. If a price is marked "$_N/A_" in the grid, it means that this title is not shown as available on that chain's website...but it COULD still be in-stores!
Without further ado, here is the latest grid:

David, truly appreciate the thread every week. Maybe I'll have to bite on Joy Ride for $15.99

The complete Paramount price reductions include:

King Kong (1976)

American Gigolo

Chinatown

Coming to America

Runaway Bride

Primal Fear

Truman Show

A Simple Plan

Next Best Thing

Snake Eyes

Angela's Ashes

The Two Jakes

The Presidio

They are all $13.56 over at DDD. So I finally picked up Chinatown...

Dave, at least now I don't have to picture you as
Al Bundy every time I read one of your posts;)
Read your weekly roundup every week. Keep up the
good work:emoji_thumbsup:

Another interesting bargain is Say Anything for $11.99 at Circuit City. Very unusual to see a good sale price on a movie that premiered a week ago. And to think I was getting a great deal pre-ordering for $13.99.

Another person who's been looking at your posts for awhile now and appreciate it very much. Keep up the good work!!

Doesn't seems like BB prices are up there nowadays and no longer offer bargains like they used to?

Same here. Also considering the Chinatown sequel The Two Jakes. Ebert liked it but many reviewers trashed when it was released. Oddly, it gets better reviews these days. Go figure.

I thought I was going to escape from buying this week... but Fox has to go and release Romeo + Juliet special edition.

Thanks again.

Chad, thanks for the info! Where did you get that from, if I might ask?

In any case, it's welcome. I can finally get Coming to America...yay!

Target has some nice deals this week. I picked up A Few Good Men SE for $12.99. They also had The Patriot & Men In Black at that price. There were a few more, just can't recall them right now.

Also worth noting that Best Buy has "Mel-o-Vison" deals going on: Braveheart for $17.99, and for $12.99 each is The Patriot, What Women Want (is the answer "Mel"? :) ), Ransom, and Lethal Weapon 4.

Josh, all I can do is repeat my "Standard Disclaimer". Here it is:
. If a price is marked "$_N/A_" in the grid, it means that this title is not shown as available on that chain's website...but it COULD still be in-stores!
So, here is the link to the CC website that shows those prices on those items!
I don't even see CC's print ads until I swing by the store...which I only do if I hit the store on Tuesday to pick up an item that wins on price (the local store sure doesn't win on service!). They don't mail them to my mailbox, and if they're in the Sunday paper, well all I can say is that my toilet paper is a better read than the Memphis Commercial Appeal! :D
Having said all of that, I will point out that I have never been disappointed about CC's prices being different from website to store, with only a couple of minor exceptions. And no complaints from Roundup readers, either.
Ash: thanks for the compliments!
Chad: thanks for the pointer!

Hey, I was thinking the exact same thing! I picture David as Ed O'Neill! Thanks again for the weekly updates. I thought I was gonna escape this week, but I may have to own that Romeo + Juliet SE!
Keep up the great work, you dedicated animal you.

Just so you know, my local (Kansas City area) CC always has higher prices than you list. I've given up even entering their store, but I just might have to give them a call with prices like that.

David if you're looking on getting *American Gigolo* and you move quik there are still a few copies left at Overstock.com at 50 % off the latest SRP markdown, $9.99, and they offer low cost media mail shipping.
