Mr. Blythe,

I know this question might not be in your area, but here goes:

Any hope of full seasons coming out for all three seasons?

I'm grateful for the two DVD's already out there, butI didn't get into the show till the end of last season and now that I'm hooked, box sets would really make a great addition to my collection. There would also be potential for a lot of cut footage to be inserted to all or some of the episodes. Anyone else interested?

Also, would syndication be an issue here too?

Thanks for your time,

Daniel Kikin

I second that. The current one's are ok for recaps but they leave out way to much. I was very surprised that most of the challenges didn't even make it on the disc's.

I don't know if syndication is an issue with Survivor. When you know who wins it's kind-of tedious. I think also the fleeting nature of the reality TV fad will mean that no one will want these discs 3-4 years from now.
I would much rather some Making the Band sets personally :)

I agree with you, Frank. I really was hoping to see a lot more of the challenges and the rewards but they barely showed up.

Also, Jeff, knowing the winner wouldn't affect my enjoyment but I could see how it would for some people though. I guess to each their own.

I would have picked up the survivor clip DVDs but I can think of far better candidates for high-resolution nudity than Richard Hatch. :). And really, why else would I want to relive survivor?
I _WOULD_ like to see season sets of the Real World. However, I'm particularly (only) interested in Season 3.

I'd love to see full season sets of The Real World and Road Rules. Now I'd buy all of Road Rules (except the horrific Semester at Sea) and most, if not all of The Real World.

I'd also love to have sets of The Real World and Road Rules, and also the RW/RR challenges. (Also The Amazing Race but I'm probably alone there).

Or how about...MAKING THE BAND?

Come on! Survivor had a chance to prove itself on video, MTB never has

O-Town. The "O" stands for "Oh my God, they suck!"
:)
I don't think season sets would work, since the show can barely keep itself on the air.

So there are some fans of The Real World. Did anyone pick up "THE REAL WORLD - RETURN TO NEW YORK" which we released in December? Who's interested in "THE REAL WORLD: CHICAGO" which is coming?

Now that The Real World is being released in season sets, is there any chance that Survivor season sets may be revisited in the near or distant future?

It just isn't going to happen. The sales aren't there.
Martin, is this why the DVD's were stopped after Season 2? I too would love to have these, then I could get rid of my VHS tapes (and finally have Season 1), but I would also go for the highlight DVD's as long as they were done like Season 1, and had more behind-the-scenes input, esp. from Mark "I am god of all reality-tv" Burnett :)
