Actor Dean Jones, star of The Love Bug, That Darn Cat, The Ugly Dachshund, and other Disney films, has died at 84, a victim of Parkinson's disease. Mr. Jones also appeared on Broadway and on television in short-lived shows like Herbie the Love Bug and Beethovan, and appeared in such non-Disney films as Two on a Guillotine and Clear and Present Danger.

RIP. Sorry to hear of this. He was great in so many roles. Loved him in Disney's That Darn Cat as Agent Zeke Kelso who was allergic to DC. Hilarious!

Mr. Jones created so many great cinematic memories from my childhood. Blackbeard's Ghost with the great Peter Ustinov, The Snowball Express. RIP

For theatre fans, you can go to Playbill.com today and see him performing "Being Alive" from the documentary that was made of the recording of the original cast of COMPANY. It is also interesting to see how they made records in those days compared to today.
