That was quite a bloodletting. Although I'm glad Kristi got axed -- the actress was awful. Having to sit through her scenes was a pain point for me. I actually thought Stahma expertly sliced her throat so she wouldn't bleed out (something they actually referenced in Hannibal, which I didn't watch until after I watched Defiance).
It felt like a bit of a slog getting through the first half (I had to restart and resume 4 or 5 times), but the second half was much better.
Always fun to see Beecher on TV again. A much better role than the character on The Blacklist that went nowhere.
I finally got time to watch the first episode of the new season last night and damn was it brutal and in a good way. I was not expecting so many characters to die. Jeeze!
I have to say I'm really liking the arc they've set up for this season and the new characters they've introduced. That Rahm Tak is a real bastard.
Sadly...I gave up on the show after the first couple of episodes this season. I only have a limited time to watch shows and this one was just losing my interest. I am curious what has happened since the first couple of episodes? The last I saw was McCawley family in the house and the immediate aftermath.
Huge development this week! Might be leading to a huge cliffhanger finale, with Nolan in the run, the Omecs descending to Earth and VC hostilities reflaned against the humans.
Defiance is canceled. I'm not surprised, after the ending of season 3. But I'm still disappointed. This has been my favorite scifi show of the past couple years.
