God, I hope so. My body is so ready for a brand-new Fallout game.

Incidentally, Adam Sessler and Morgan Webb are teaming up with Bethesda old-skool G4 style for both their pre- and post-conference sessions:

Only about two hours now until Bethesda officially announces Fallout 4, exclusively on Ouya!

I kid, I kid -- it's actually gonna be:

Fallout Vault! The new premium, free-to-play post-apocalyptic management simulator. Use Pip-Points (available for purchase at the Fallout Store for $0.99 each) to upgrade your Vault and challenge friends!

Available on all iOS and Android devices.

I wish they'd pulled a Sega Saturn, and the trailer ended with: IN STORES NOW. Just once I'd love to see a modern Triple-A game do that.

Set in Boston, it better have mutant lobstahs as enemies. The visuals in this trailer looked like the vast improvement over Fallout 3 that one one would expect. The character models are the usual-usual, but I think the environments look quite nice, and the lighting's excellent. But it was the familiar strains of Inon Zur that gave me goosebumps, though.

Wonder if the "Vault 111" thing is a release-date hint?

Also, airships are great, and the inevitable mod or DLC that lets me have a controllable airship as my base to rain artillery-hell down on my enemies is, well, inevitable. I dig it, but I freely admit I'm a total slut for this crap.

Huh. I thought, compared to FO3 on Xbox 360 it looks amazing. Against Destiny on PS4, it seems "next-gen" to me.

Two things that I'm looking forward to: The Boston Children's Museum full of feral kids, and douchey Quincy Super Mutants.

Also: Finding the Kennedy compound full of inbred drunks, dealing with insane Harvard professors, and crazy new tech out of MIT. I love the whole Boston-setting. Really gives the game a chance to inject even more insane humor into the whole mythos.

I loved the Capital Wasteland in Fallout 3. I expect to equally love killing shamrock-tattoo'd chowderheads in Fallout 4.

ETA: No cross-gen? Seriously, thank you, Bethesda.

Honestly, this looks like the biggest Fallout 3 mod ever made, and I'm not sure I mean that as a compliment.

I get that invoking the imagery, monsters, etc. from the other games will tie it into the series, but it really looks like they just spent a ton of time modeling a burnt out Boston and then put Fallout 3 in it. The trailer didn't look like gameplay video, which is not reassuring at all.

I've only played 3 and I really enjoyed it. I'm not sure I'm excited about this yet.

Likely that's on its way Sunday -- Bethesda undoubtedly has a whole lot more to show us at E3 (just a few short days after this initial trailer), and this was simply the briefest taste of what's to come. They're not gonna blow their whole load right before the big show. ;)

I'm in, though with my backlog of games I probably wont get it until the "Game of the Year' edition comes out in a couple years ha ha.
