I think I'm going to get the S5500 from 220-Electronics. Anyone have this player and do yo like it?

Is there any point in upgrading my Sony Blu-ray player to the 4k upscaling verson BDP-S6500 if I don't have a 4k display yet? Will there by any difference in the PQ for my regular BD or DVD viewing? My older Sony unit is starting to buzz and I suspect I may need to replace soon.

I don't see an advantage. Also consider that 4K TVs, as I understand it, will uprez to 4K without any help from any other device.

Thanks for the input, Johnny. I'll probably just go with the 5500 then to keep the budget down.
