Hello All,

So I moved into a new house with speakers built into the ceiling. There are four speakers total. Two near the front by the TV, and two in the rear. These speakers are spaced in such a way that they are evenly spaced from each other. They're great Bose speakers, but what do I do with just four speakers? I believe these are considered to be the two rear and two front Left and Right speakers for a complete surround sound system.

I have an Onkyo receiver with the four speakers hooked up to it. But it never sounds "powerful" enough. It gets loud trust me, but the sound is a little lacking in that sense that it seems like it's missing speakers. And yes it is set up in a way that the cable box/Xbox One/others "know" that it's hooked up to just the four speakers. So, the question is what can I do?

Would it sound good by just adding a sound bar and subwoofer? And would that plug into my Onkyo and work just perfectly fine (this would be preferable).

AND/OR

What other route could I go with? Adding additional speakers and subwoofer? I looked at this route, but I have no idea how to handle this, and cost is a bit of a concern.

ANY help would be much appreciated! Thank you guys! Also attached pictures.
