Yep. I just wish they had released Dragon Tattoo on Blu-ray, like they did with Social Network.

I'm interested in how the movie will be. I read the book and thought it was an entertaining read, but ultimately my reductive assessment of the story is that it's basically an extended Law and Order episode.

I enjoyed it enough to read Flynn's other novels. On the surface I'd say Gone Girl was not as interesting, but ultimately I remember the story better than the others.

The opening track What Have We Done to Each Other?...

...This reminded me of the stylizing of the musical synth keyboard notes of The Hitcher (1986) by Mark Isham. I played the two videos at same time from the start sounds eerie. both scores have a dark mysterious theme going for them. GONE GIRL has some notes I seemed to have heard somewhere else I might thinking "7"? Or some notes remind me of The Game. The soundtrack is playing with my mind.

Why does a few of the notes in Consummation sound like the Prometheus trailer? This isn't going to be an ALIEN in this? :P

Sugar Storm (Reprise) reminds me of the music in the THE ABYSS making under pressure where you see the divers swimming under the water.

Strange. It won't play at all when I open the link. I tried via FF and IE. The NPR player shows up but the rest of the playlist etc is blank.

Nothing deep sub bass to get excited about the range is covering the most common of most film soundtracks otherwise I'd be seeing below 20Hz. The synth notes with oscillating toney sine waves I find a little disturbing.
