Netflix audio "variables"... (1 Viewer)

Now that I've got a few too many choices for playback...I have nagging issues of sorts regarding the audio.

First...the options(with audio ability in "here")

Netflix app via LG G3 and Pad 8.3 via Chromecast (2.0)
Netflix app Via ^^ via SlimPort (shows 6 MCH all the time)
LG 530 app (2.0)
Laptop Chrome browser via HDMI (MCH all the time)
Laptop Firefox browser via HDMI (2.0)
Laptop Chrome browser via Chromecast (2.0)
Laptop app via Chromecast (MCH or 2.0)
Laptop app via HDMI (MCH all the time)

After all that...might have missed one...

The issue here...oddly, of the choices where it says MCH all the time...I can't use DPL. I can, however, use Onkyo TV Logic.

But...the content that is available in 5.1...will only tell me that when I actually start using a source with MCH. Problem is...where the MCH is "forced"...I can't use DPL unless I stop the source and switch to one that has 2.0. Annoying as hell.

I figured this out...oddly, by using Spotify. Everywhere above that has "MCH only"...also plays Spotify that way...meaning I can't use the sound modes.

What the hell?

By the way. What started this was Albatross. Great little movie staring FJ and JFB(and an amusing appearance by "the girls")...

I was watching it and the audio seemed overly pressed into the left speaker. Since it said MCH...assumed it was. I was wrong.

Stopped the movie, switched sources...sounded much better in 2.0. And...I got to use DPL, even better.

Then once done...tried Flight again. First on the source where I was getting good 2.0. Flight didn't say "available in 5.1"...which I knew it was.

Switch back to the source giving me fits with Albatross. DD+ glory...
