My name is Chris. I joined because I'm converting my shed into an office. It's a blank slate right now.It has power already run to it, but before I finish the walls I want to install a built in audio system. Something simple - I'll probably just attach the input permanently to a Bluetooth audio receiver. My question is about speakers - I want to have decent balanced sound, but as a designer, I'm trying to create a particular creative aesthetic. I want to use round speakers without covers mounted at strategic positions on the surface of the drywall and have all the wiring concealed, so the speaker design I'm looking for is something simple and classic when no speaker cover is on. Any make/model suggestions?

Hi Chris. I think you'll find that the general consensus here is that in-walls aren't all they are cracked up to be. Since you are specifically looking for round it's going to be doubly damning as most of those are designed for in ceiling and not in-wall. but if you absolutely positively must go that route my choice is the Paradigms:

My home came with in-ceiling Klipsh and they are OK, but they are only used for ambiance never for anything serious.
