The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still out of business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their prices anyway).

Here's the weird thing: I can't find the Batman collection on BB or Amazon anywhere.  I'm trying to figure out if this package includes the bonus material or not and, if I do want it, where in the heck I get it from.

I cannot pass up the Olive Films blu-rays, especially if they have Barbara Stanwyck or Cary Grant in them.

Plus today is John Wayne's birthday, so I will add his to my cart as well. Found them to be cheaper at DVD Planet, with free shipping to boot.

Thanks for the list.

I seriously never expected to see Magic Christian released on Blu Ray. Heck, I thought the DVD release was a small miracle (no pun intended)

The title/price grid doesn't display properly on my phone, using HTF's own app. Is that "just me", or is it a known problem?

Was in Target today. All Star Trek movie BDs are $10 apiece, among other things. A ton of catalog BDs were on sale for $4.75, most of which I think are usually in the $7.50-$10 range (I remember seeing When Harry Met SallyCity SlickersWinter's Bone, etc.)

Game of Thrones season 2 BD was on sale for, IIRC, $40 or so. There were some others as well. Boss (Kelsey Grammer) season 1 BD was $25, IIRC.

I also saw copies of the new Les Mis BD for $25 that included the Target-exclusive bonus disc but were not the official Target-exclusive edition with a book and cards.

I was thrilled today to find the CLEOPATRA digibook in stock at Costco --- and for $17.99.

So thrilled, in fact, that I also picked up the ULTIMATE GANGSTERS boxes --- for $34.99 each.

I went to two different Targets the day after release and both were already sold out of the book edition.  I doubt they ever got any more in stock.

Oh, I'm sure they didn't. Those sorts of premiums are first-week only. Target-exclusive editions with just bonus discs tend to hang around much longer.
