Hi, I am planning to setup a HT in a 2nd room but don't want to spend a lot of money for a sub. My budget for a sub is $200. Has anyone ever hear of the MartinLogan Dynamo 300? I have seen mixed reviews. Other blogs suggested the BIC F12..also mixed reviews. Thanks

There are bunches of subs <$200(counting refurb). None of them are perfect at everything. Want boom? Buy the F12*. Want musical fill-in? Buy the Dynamo. Want a mixture of both? Mordaunt Short Carnival 9 (A4L refurb) *I actually found a review of the F12 where the guy called it "absolutely lousy". He was asked what he was using as "reference material". He was using Felix Hell organ music. Felix Hell organ music gives this one fits... http://www.amazon.co... supercube 6000

Thanks Sam. I will check out the Mordaunt Short Carnival 9. The reviews on it are pretty good.

New In Box. Means(or is supposed to mean) still in the original sealed box. Differentiated with... Open-Box. Refurbished (which can mean whole slew of things. "just a return" to "repaired").
