Hello, guys I'm setting up a HT (7.2) and just got a pair of fx 1000 and a pair of rt3000 (witout the subs). I had already a pair of Rti70 and a cs400.
I'm planning to put the Rti70 as front, the fx as surround and rt3000 as surround back. Does the RT's and the cs 400 macht the Rti 70. And what sub do I have to combined. Any one who can help me out. Thx. Legal Lion

And what sub do I have to combined.
The sub needs to match your room and your goals, not the rest of your system. How large is the room? Is it open to other parts of the house? How large can the sub be? Do you want a little more low end or do you want life-like explosions during action movies? And finally - what is your budget? Make sure your goals, limitations and budget all match. You can't have a sub the size of a shoe box, recreate explosions and stay under a budget of $100.

The room is 13.12 x 16.4 and it has no window. I want to setup a 7.2..
I like exposion during the actions movies.
My budget is about $ 250.- but I dont have to spend all that money. If there is a sub (like you set under 100) and that is good. I will sure get that.
But I want somthing that rock the walls!!

By .2 I'm assuming you want dual subs. It's still a 7.1 because there is a single LFE (low frequency effects) channel. You can split that into 2, 3 or a dozen sub and it's still .1. Also, sometimes it is better to have a single good sub than a pair of less than adequate subs.

You can get a good sub for $250 but it won't rock the walls. For $200, you can pick up a BIC F-12 http://www.amazon.com/BIC-America-F12-475-Watt-Subwoofer/dp/B0015A8Y5M/ref=sr_1_cc_1?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1342719162&sr=1-1-catcorr&keywords=bic+f-12
If you want to rock the walls, you need to step up to the Epik Empire - http://www.epiksubwoofers.com/empire.html or the eD A7-450 - http://www.edesignaudio.com/product_info.php?cPath=2_41&products_id=656 .
