Has anyone here heard of a UK DVD label called Renown Pictures? They release British films/movies. The link to the website is below:

Their latest title, released this Monday, is Assignment Redhead (1956) which stars Richard Denning (who would go on to play the Governor of Hawaii in the original Hawaii Five-O tv series).

Yes, I've heard of them. In fact, I have one of their DVDs in my collection SOS PACIFIC (1959) with Richard Attenborough and Pier Angeli.

Yes, they specialize in small British B productions. Their transfers are of variable quality but I've yet to see anything really awful from them, and some are very good. There's a review of one of their recent releases, The Challenge, here.

They have access to the Butchers film library in the UK and have been cranking out a couple or so releases a month, all of good-to-excellent quality.

A couple of Renown titles which sound good are Blind Spot (1958) (released two weeks ago. See it's Amazon UK listing page) and That Woman Opposite (1957).

Not sure if these titles have been released before separately by Renown, but two new listings have been added to the Renown DVD section on Amazon UK, both double features:

The Last Journey (1936) / Return of a Stranger (1937)
Say It with Flowers (1934) / Song of the Road (1936).

Both double features had a release date of Monday 26th March (source: Amazon UK).

VCI has released some of the Renown titles in the past - I'm wondering if they will do any more. There are several titles in their catalogue that I would like and thought I can play all-regionond on s separate player, the NTSC versions are more convenient.

The double feature of Out of the Fog (1962) and Radio Cab Murder (1954) has incorrect aspect ratio information for Out of the Fog on the rear boxart. It states both films are in 4:3 fullscreen. Radio Cab Murder is presented in fullscreen, but Out of the Fog is presented in widescreen (the picture fills the whole screen, so I assume it's not 2.35:1). Also the comments about Radio Cab Murder on the rear boxart say it has the better of the picture quality, yet Out of the Fog looks better (based on testing out the disc).
