I was pleased to see the teaser poster at the theater last week, and I'm pleased to see this.  To me, these things are like Looney Tunes...they can keep making them forever as long as they stay goofy and imaginative.  That said, it looks like they've freshened it up with new characters and pruned out the excessive CGI-fantasy clutter from the previous one.

Having Ian McShane as Blackbeard is enough for me to go.

You have all the weapons you need...Now fight!

Looks mostly like a rehash to me, but I'll still go to see it. I didn't mind the first three and this one looks to be on par with any of those.

"You bring a horse for me?" "Looks like......looks like we're shy of one horse." "No.......You brought two too many."

"Looks mostly like a rehash to me,"

Funny, when the first movie came out, a lot of people recognized its similarity to the Tim Powers novel "On Stranger Tides" that this film is based on.  So they're going in circles.
