I am about to write my HTF recap of the year 2001.

Is there a list anywhere of ALL the DVD titles
released by the major studios this past year
listed month to month?

Thanks

Ron, this is the best idea I have for you. Maybe someone else will have a better (read: easier) idea. But it's the best I can come up with.

Go to Image Entertainment's web site.

Click on "Advanced Search".

When the form comes up, look on the right side near the top for these fields:

Release Dates

From:__________ mm/dd/yy
To:____________ mm/dd/yy

Fill in the dates with the first month (01/01/01 - 01/31/01) and submit. There's January. Repeat for February, then Martch, etc. You can even sort the results in order of release date by clicking on the words "Release Date" in the column header of the results.

If you don't want to put in 12 queries, you can do the entire year at once and then pick through the results yourself.

Playing with this tool in other ways will get you ahold of interesting information! Posted Image Good luck,
