The Disclaimer Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain!
If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still out of business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their prices anyway).

Just a reminder that if you plan on buying any of the titles on the roundup at Amazon this week please click on the price links in the roundup to support the forum.

I am looking forward to Contact. I haven't seen it since the DVD came out years ago, and have been wanting to watch it again so I've been waiting for the Blu-ray.

I thought that the Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory Blu was moved up to this week? Is it still being released on 10-20?

The lists I check each week put it at 10-20-09, Eric. And, no retailers are advertising a Wonka release for this week...and you';d think that would be an important title to advertise.

You'll have to wait another couple of weeks before you look for a Golden Ticket.

Amazon says 10/20, but the Warner press site still says 10/6. I believe it got pushed back 2 weeks.

I've already pre-order Snow White, so that's a given. And I'll wait for Contact. Something tells me it will drop in price quickly just like the last group of Warner catalogue BD's.

Looking forward to finally getting the chance to see Trick 'R Treat. I'll be getting that and Audition on Blu-ray.

Just Snow White on Blu for me. There's a lot of stuff I'll want to rent. My Gotta Watch pile is starting to stack up.

After what seems like an eternity, Mary Tyler Moore S5 (which I pre-ordered about three months ago!). I knew the day would come when I would be forced to buy a BD title (I'm what the industry calls a "late adopter") to get Snow White, although I might hold off since it will probably be pushed a bit as the holidays get closer. And Trick 'r' Treat is #1 on my Netflix queue!

I received a WalMart circular in my paper this weekend that has the Snow White BD (along with X-Men Origins: Wolverine and Monsters vs. Aliens BDs) advertised at 19.96. There is also a Internet printable coupon for $10 bucks off Snow White.

$9.96 for a new release BD? Not too shabby.

I sure hope WalMart takes the coupon.

I am getting the same error. I was going to check out Ken Burns' National Parks BD. I watched some of the series last week, and was planning on just picking up the SD-DVD (picture quality of this documentary is not a big deal due to all the old photo/film footage used), but the BD is only $7 more.

Thanks for the heads up on the errors you guys were getting from the links. They should be working now, not sure what happened as they were all working yesterday....

Toys R Us also show for $19.99 and I have used these coupons there before, but Walmart should too.

I love Contact and sampled my dvd a couple weeks ago, it still works.

Michael looking forward to the review of "Not Quite Hollywood".

I saw a trailer on another blu-ray and it looks really interesting.

That's funny you should mention NQH...I just watched it yesterday afternoon. Still trying to get through all the extras, though.
