Marek, how does that compare to other HD-DVD releases, or BD release prices in the UK?

[Blu-ray disc format] [2003] 17.99 pounds ($34.2) Ultraviolet [Blu-ray disc format] [2006] 18.74 pounds ($35.62) The Exorcism Of Emily Rose [Blu-ray disc format] [2005] 17.99 pounds ($34.2) Pat Metheny Group-Way Up [Blu-ray disc format] [2005] 13.99 pounds ($24.22) Alice Cooper-Live at Montreux [Blu-ray disc format] [2005] 16.99 pounds ($32.29) Knight's Tale , A (Blu-Ray Disc) [2001] 13.49 pounds ($25.64) Tears Of The Sun [Blu-ray disc format] [2003] 17.99 pounds ($34.2) FIFA World Cup - All The Goals Of Germany 2006 [Blu-ray disc format] 17.99 pounds ($34.2) Hitch [Blu-ray disc format] [2005] 13.49 pounds ($25.64) 50 First Dates (Blu-Ray Disc) [2004] 13.49 pounds ($25.64) XXX (Blu-Ray Disc) [2002] 13.99 pounds ($26.56) for HD-DVD there is almost nothing new in the MOVIE section : HDScape Sampler [HD DVD disc format] 7.89 pounds ($14.99) Fireplace - Visions Of Tranquility [HD DVD disc format] 7.89 pounds ($14.99) The Osmonds - Live [HD DVD disc format] [2006] 11.49 pounds ($21.84) FIFA World Cup - All The Goals Of Germany 2006 [HD DVD disc format] 14.99 pounds ($28.49) Pat Metheny Group-the Way Up [HD DVD disc format] [2005] 12.74 pounds ($24.22) it seems like there is no HD-DVD movie for preorder on amazon.co.uk... so those prices on amazon.fr with 29.98 euro = $38.089 are more expensive Marek

Much thanks, Marek. I will be looking forward to your review. Now the question is, why in the world are they holding off the US release.

Ok.... Here are the goods.... Harry Potter on HD! Video: 1080p / 16X9 / 2.4:1 Audio: Dolby TrueHD: English 5.1 / Dolby Digital +: English 5.1, French 5.1, Spanish 5.1 Extras: In-Movie Experience This looks like a complete port of the 2 disc SD version with the exception of the IME. This is the USA cut of the film.... Dugger

This is just the thread I need to ask a question in!Posted Image

Ordered "Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire" [HD DVD] from Amazon.co.uk for £16.59.

Could someone please tell me how much £16.59 is when converted to United States Dollars?

FYI: It was shipped via DHL Express and the estimated arrival date is 29-November-2006.

Thanks,

""Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire" (HD DVD) arrived in California yesterday morning via DHL from London.

What a great transfer of the film! The movie seems to be much clearer than what I remember seeing in the theater. Kept on looking at the detail of the furniture and props that made the atmosphere settings. Also, the fine detail of the costumes. Even the CGI effects are extraordinarily detailed in this transfer.Posted Image

Edit: Also have to mention that the additional choice of the 5.1 English Dolby True HD - 96Khz-24bit track makes the movie experience striking!
