Thanks for the review. I hope someone has the old & new release to compare before I buy.

I was pretty upset by
Rachel's quick death
in this one too. Great review, by the way. I'm still on the fence about upgrading for this one and part 4.

Now only if Dimension woudl release the Producer's Cut of Halloween 6 to DVD (45 minutes are different from the theatrical release with a totally different ending which I like more). thanks for the review.

Since I am a fan of both this one and part 4, I will probably pick both of them up. It is interesting to see someone who prefers part 5 though. I did like both of them, and I will admit that part 5 did have some more memorable sequences in it. That said, I also was very upset
that Rachel was killed off so quickly.

This is my least favorite film in the series. Worst script, worst direction, etc. Halloween 4 is incredibly superior to it.

I agree completely. Halloween 5 is absolutely terrible compared to Halloween 4. And put me down as another Rachel/Ellie Cornell fan who was severely upset by the treatment of her character in this movie. John

I could accept Rachel's treatment if she hadn't been replaced by Tina. That's slapping you in the face, pulling out a knife and slicing your chest, and dumping an entire quart of salt in the wound.
