Well, I didn't get as much done over the holidays as I wanted to, but I did get all of the framing finished on the walls, and the bulkheads built in the theater room and the game room. I still have to do the two smaller rooms, which will be cake now that the two larger rooms are finished and I'm "experienced".
Here are a couple of pics. The room with the three cutouts is going to be the game room. I built the walls on the floor and fastened a 2x4 running horizontally across the top and bottom of the wall. I did this 12 inches from the top and bottom. If you do this, pay attention as to where you want your electrical boxes, I did it at 12 inches as that is the distance I want the boxes from the floor and will put the top of the stud with the bottom of the box. This will make wiring and cabling a snap. Oh, another thing I did was fastened the sheet rock to the back of the wall for the inserts, will save some time on cutting and getting it in the cutouts later down the road.

Just had a new baby last week, so I hope to get the odds and ends on the framing complete and the bulkheads that are built for the game room fastened up. This is about a half day job, I'm still thinking over the bar/lounge with ideas, so I'll probably take a week or so and finish my design on that before doing the framing, probably save it for next week.
