Another sad day in a year in which death among our great entertainers have been too many in numbers. RIP, Bob Hope.

The world has lost one of the greatest humanitarians of the last century. He brought joy and laughter to the world during times of hopelessness, & to countless men and women unsure of what the next day would bring them.Our military men and women will be forever indebted to him and all the entertainers who worked with Bob Hope and the U.S.O. for the sacrifice they made for the troops. Thanks for the memories...

The passing of Leslie Townes Bob Hope is truly the passing of one of the greatest Americans that ever lived, in my humble opinion.

From his extremely long and distinguished career in the entertainment industry to his great work entertaining American men and women in uniform on behalf of the United Services Organization (USO), Hope is truly an original--a great entertainer and great humanitarian.

Thanks for the memories, Mr. Hope.

He brought so much laughter and happiness. It will be odd to live in a world without Bob Hope because to me he was almost like a family member. Truly the end of an era. And he passed away shortly after turning 100 and on a Sunday evening. The man's timing was impeccable.

Thanks for the memories.

Thanks for the memory,
Of things I can’t forget, journeys on a jet,

I know it’s a fallacy
That grown men never cry, baby that’s a lie;
We had our bed of roses, but forgot that roses die;
And thank you so much
