Question: Neil Simon, Mel Brooks, Woody Allen, Danny Simon, Larry Gelbart, Carl Reiner—what do they have in common?

Answer: they were all writers on Your Show of Shows, starring Sid Caesar way back in the 50s.

PBS is telecasting a retrospective about this show and its star, Sid Caesar this evening at 8:30 (Dallas CDT) for 90 minutes. This promises to be a real treat.

If this is the same show I saw on one of our local PBS stations about a year ago, it's well worth watching.
