Episode 2

The good:
- Sienna Miller's still hot
- "One-ball" Bill and "Gay" Johnny
- The "filthy slut" unbuttoning her blouse for the horse
- "Fairy's tale"
- Nigel's friends

The bad:
- The very stupid and unneccesary use of freeze frame/bullet time.

I only got through half of it on my ReplayTV before I needed to go to bed, but I liked the line from Pipin, which he said something to the effect of "You two are going to have beautiful children." referring to the sparks between Eddie and Fiona. :)

Me mesmerized by Sienna Miller (Fiona).

As long as Simon West is directing these episodes, we're stuck with his visual tics (his overused freeze frame, sped up visual style).

I thought the bullet time for the two guys was funny because it was unnecessary. But the fast motion rewind stuff was just filler.

Sienna Miller is on Last Call with Carson Daly on Friday.

I like the light-hearted direction this show has goen as opposed to the gritty nature of most cop shows. No one's died yet (well, except Hurricane) and we have lots of wacky criminals.

I laughed my ass off. The utter lack of pretension of the story (if not the direction) allows this show to go places others won't.

I thought this was one of the funniest hours of television since Ed's liquid dream episode. :emoji_thumbsup:

Siena Miller is incredibly hot (except that she doesn't eat tapioca;)), but it seems every woman on the show is (e.g., Miss Hornypenny, Nigel's friend), with the possible exception of "the 40 year old filthy slut who will do anything". :)

I thought this show was almost as painful as watching all those blasted "Reality" shows on now. I'm hooked.

There is this whimsical quality to this show that is fun. Plus add in the fish out of water angle, and it's even more fun.

I laughed tremendously hard at "Horse Heir", despite some of West's hard work to screw it up. The rapid-cutting for scene transitions doesn't work, and I don't know what that bit with Karen ("Moneypenny") was. Still one of the more enjoyable hours of TV lately ("you sick, sick man!").

In a weird way, the show works as sort of a Farscape replacement for me - Eddie is a very similar character to John Crichton, in the way he acts all blustery an obnoxious as a sort of defense for being a fish out of water, which winds up making people underestimate him.
