I was just wondering, maybe considering a future purchase... is 'DAB radio' in Canada thd same thing as XM and Sirius in the states?

If so, is it a totally different system from XM and Sirius (like how XM and Sirius are different, but they're the same technology)?

Sirius is satellite based, DAB is strictly terrestrial. Both are Digital Broadcasts.
