Well pal, I'm not real sure what you would consider a fairy tale and not, but if it is acceptable, I'd like to nominate the following:

Labyrinth
Time Bandits
The Crow
Sleepy Hollow

I know The Crow is pushing it, so if that isn't what you had in mind, replace it with Willow.
"DO NOT float above me while I'm dying in the abyss!"

I would say The Crow is alright. I would say it's more of a comic book movie, that has a Fairy tale feel to it(all be it a strange one) So I let it go. Besides I might need it trying to get to 32 movies.

What's the problem? Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back easily fit the definition of fairy tale, albeit a more modern one.

Let's see.
- heroes
- a villain with sorceror-like powers
- a princess
- a dashing rogue
- duels galore
- scary monstrous creatures

Careful there, Chuck, you don't want to get a heart attack. There are worst things to get angry over. Besides, you gotta at least stick around to vote against it. Posted Image Posted Image

I share the increasingly common annoyance with seeing the same titles over and over again. In fact, as much as I love the Lord of the Rings movies, I must admit I wish they weren't in this tourney.

Who said I was angry, though? Where did you get "anger" from? Heart attack... huh?

Take it easy, Chuck. I was being light-hearted about things. You're taking this poll stuff a little too seriously.

There it is again. Why do people on the internet presume to know how "angry" or "serious" you are? Is it just a tactic to make the other guy seem too emotional?

No, I'm not taking it seriously. I'm not foaming at the mouth, I'm not lying awake at night fretting about it, I'm not making frantic phone calls to my parents. Okay?

I saw that. The Big Lebowski? Ridiculous. Anyone think Lebowski also makes a nifty fairy tale?

Anyhoo, I've been thinking about how to use my 4th nomination. I'm not sure if this will fly, but I'll put it out there and let you guys judge...

Nominate:
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
