One positive about The Job getting cancelled is that Leary & company were able to produce a equally entertaining and daring series, Rescue Me, that doesn't have nearly as many restrictions put on it as ABC/Disney put on The Job.
I really, really miss Miracles. It was such a blast to watch Monday nights. It's kinda funny to say it, but it really helped me get through the week and look forward to the next Monday. But maybe, ju----st maybe, if the DVD sales are good enough, we'll see a revival of the series? Eh, positive thinking can't hurt, right?

mr show, strangers with candy, upright cizitens brigade. glad to see comedy central replaced great shows like SWC and UCB with shows like blue collar tv, crank yankers, and drawn together. the sad thing is, they will probably all be on dvd before seasons 2 and 3 of UCB :frowning: f comedy central.
-Miracles (I bet it was going somewhere) -Due South (genius... it doesn't surprise me that that Paul Haggis is now becoming a high profile screenwriter with Million Dollar Baby) -Firefly (only show I've ever written to a network for) -Action (ahead of its time, and nearly as good as Arrested Development) -MST3K (just kept improving, except for the host segments)
I'm hoping that Veronica Mars isn't on this list in a year.

I also miss Nash Bridges and Martial Law, and I actually enjoyed The Fugitive which was supposed to be the biggest hit of the season and there was a little show called CSI that was supposed to have a quick death...don't get me wrong, I love the CSI shows, but I think it's amusing that it beat out the Fugitive.
Corey, I like the original as well, but The Fugitive (2000) was also great. I remember always getting really pissed off because just about every episode ended in a clifhanger. At the end of each episode I say "Awww crap!! I can't miss next weeks episode!"
That reminds me of when ER and Chicago Hope came out in the same year. Everyone said that ER would fail and CH would be the big new show. And while CH did last a few years it was never the hit ER became.
