Sports Night -- Why can't the networks ever be happy with an intelligently written show that takes a little while to gain an audience? Was the replacement any better?

Due South -- Quirky shows are fun to watch but never seem to appear to a mass audience.

I'd list that one, but it's still putting out canned new episodes. Plus, DC is starting up a green screen riff on the format this fall.

"Action"-- What a friggen funny show that was.

For drama, I really miss "Playmakers" that showed on ESPN last year.

Kevin, there was a horrible pilot for a live action CLERKS sitcom (but it isn't on the new CLERKS DVD due to rights issues).

Dan, did you catch the three unaired episodes of Karen Sisco on USA (which is still showing Karen Sisco reruns up to this point, but they did premiere 3 episodes (that ABC never aired) back in April)?

My choices...

>Keen Eddie - Thanks to Paramount for getting it out on DVD before Christmas of this year!

>Action! - Trio ran all of the episodes that never were.

>Quantum Leap - Worst final episode cheat ever!

>Futurama & Clerks - Again home video works well for these titles.

>Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction - Fox used to bring this back for a limited run...do it again!

Miracles (Mr. Friendly was awesome)
American Gothic ("Someone's at the door.")
The Brotherhood of Poland, NH
Firefly ("We gotta go to a crappy town where I'm a hero.")
Angel (I still want to know who survived the big battle!)

My most missed cancelled show would have to be Homefront. It was only on for two seasons but will always be one of my favorite tv shows.

Special Unit 2 - Would love to see this on DVD. The Benson / O'Malley / Carl dynamic was great.
Titus
That 80's Show - 13 episodes and it was just starting to hit it's stride. Fox strikes again

Definately the Pretender. And MacGuyver. And I actually enjoyed that show called Veritas that had all of 4 episodes...

Just THINK of what could be done with all the new stars out there, since so many of the stars that guested on the first one have passed on...
