Possibly the only DVD I buy for myself this month is Alien Quadrilogy, other than that it will be Christmas shopping only.

Thanks again for the round up David!

I'm bringing my old Goodtimes fullscreen Airport DVD to Blockbuster and will pick up PotC for $12.99. I need to get rid of it for the Airport 4-pack coming up soon, anyway.

I was going to wait on the Ben Stiller Show, but you just can't beat $15 at Walmart.

I'm going to be a little patient with the Alien Quadrilogy, and will place an order on DDD Tuesday morning.

I'm picking up Stiller, Alias, Pirates of the Caribbean.

Anyone know if Pet Shop Boys: PopArt is coming out this week? Some sites say this week, others say next week. Strangely, Amazon has it listed for both.

Holy cow--AQ for $64.99 at Costco? I know where I'll be buying my copy this Tuesday...
That's the cool thing about Costco. They may not have the best prices on individual releases right out of the gate, but their prices on Boxed sets are usually the best (non online) Guess the more "Bulk" a package is there, the better deal they will offer

Does anyone know what the surcharge at Costco is for non members? I think it's 5%, which still beats the Alien Quad price everywhere else.

Anyone know if Sams Club will carry Alien?

Thanks Dave!

DDD must be getting slammed with tons of orders (including my own:D ), so I don't think I can wait to see AQ or Alias after Christmas, if they get backordered. So...

Alien Quad is $62.99 shipped if you use STL on Amazon, but Costco once again seems to be the B&M place.

If the Alias 1 was any indication, I'm hoping for the same $39.99 price on Alias 2 at my Costco. Too bad Circuit City didn't have the same deal this time around, but they've got To Live and Die in LA for the right price. Thanks again, Dave!

Remember, if you have one of those Best Buy free Coming Attractions discs there is a coupon for 10% off any Collector's set (11/30-12/6), bring the Quadrilogy down to $67.49.

Anyone know what BJs Wholesale Club will have for their price on Pirates of the Caribbean?

Am curious since I have a $3 off coupon exclusively for BJs which I got off their cardboard longbox for Finding Nemo. Nemo was a good price at BJs anyway at $14.99, but I figured the coupon clinched that deal--but ONLY if they have a reasonable price on PotC.

Looks like Sam's Club has their price for PotC bumped up above other places. I guess they have some kind of exclusive coupon, too.

Not necessarily, Matt. I've read on this and other forums that many BB employees/managers won't let people use those coupons on the 1st week sale price - but some do. YMMV.

Thanks Matt!! I was saving $25 worth of Reward Zone coupons to use on the AQ. The price at Costco was making me re-think things though.

Happy Holidays!

I know this thread is about B&M prices, but those DDD coupons will still be good on 12/3, so it makes it a lot easier to do the online shopping when the prices for some of the box sets there are as follows:

Alien Quadrilogy - $58.55
ST: DS9 season 7 - $76.80
JKX season 1 - $21.12
Alias season 2 - $36.29
Can someone enlighten a poor soul about these coupons? $58.55 for AQ is a pretty darn good price...

Just got back from a Best Buy in Tampa, and ALIAS Season 2 was not there!

I've seen this before on catalog titles, but never on a heavily-advertised major release like this!

(Maybe I just missed it, I'll be back at the store after work.)

I just went to go look at the set (thinner than I thought it would be, actually a bit thinner than the Indiana Jones set, but I'm sure it's the largest set even when you open it up.)

Costco has it marked at $61.99 (not $64.99) Is it listed at different price in different parts of the country?

I was looking at it at the Arlington, VA store.

I didn't pick it up, I think I'll wait for the 2 disc sets for Alien and Aliens. Maybe I should read the reviews again
