You have to be in one of those unusual moods to appreciate some of these movies. Such as when you just watched the local news and people throughout your city are the victims of horrendous crimes and the criminals are still out on the loose.
Or, your buddies are over to drink & watch something brainless where the bad guys get blown away. :D

I caught a flick on TV the other day called "Defiance" with Jan-Michael Vincent starring as a vigilante type dude wiping out the local street gang. It looked very early 80's and was unintentionally hilarious at times.

This is one of my favorite B-movies, and definitely exemplifies theme theme under discussion. Unfortunately, it isn't on DVD, which is what the poster was looking for.

Brook, thanks for suggesting The Limey. It looks good & I've never seen it.

I noticed Amazon has The Limey for $13.48, or the set of The Limey (Special Edition)/Ghost Dog - The Way of the Samurai (Special Edition) for $22.48.

I don't know if it's worth paying the higher price to get Ghost Dog or the special edition versions.

Do it. I enjoyed both The Limey and Ghost Dog.

Another good revenge flick is "Titus."

Revenge done Shakespearean style.
