Magnolia (??)

Toy Story 2 (??)
You are on safe ground with Magnolia, Vicki. It’s all within 24 hours. I may not recall correctly, but I think that the time span for ]]}Toy Story 2[/i] is more than 24 hours. Doesn’t it take some time for the repairs? Or is this all in a flashback?

I can’t for the life of me figure out how the Criterion Playtime can bring near three figure prices on the usual, suspect marketplaces and not even get a second in this tourney.

Come on somewone, this is a brilliant film. It at least ought to get a nod.

Well Lew, I've used up all my seconds. But if you want to undo one of your seconds and second one of the films I seconded, I'll use that second for Playtime. :)

Well, I'll take this under advisement, George. But first, I’ll lobby Jason for a few more noms or seconds. :D
Jason—some more noms & seconds, please!
I presume that you noticed I’ve already used a second on The Lady Vanishes. I presume that you would not care for me to back out this second—not that I would.
:)

Question:
Does Alien take place in one day? If so, I'll nominate it.
I'd also nominate Cube, but I can't recall if this takes place in one continuous period in which the characters never sleep (and what is a 'day' in the Cube, anyway?).

I'll use up more of mine:

The Wizard of Oz (I think this qualifies)
Second:
12 Angry Men

George, I thought about that as well but I thought it might qualify from the standpoint that the whole time over the rainbow is really a dream. I guess we'll let Jason be the judge.
