Would we like the results of a projector? Dunno, but there's only one way to find out!
We're in "phase one" -
The screen is currently our wall. For a light beige wall I'm really happy with the projector so far. Dark scenes need help, but I'm still determining a screen strategy. I'll post my question in the Display Devices forum for that.
I have some fun projects for subsequent phases; build a custom wall unit, install a popup TV for daytime viewing, install skylight blackout mechanism, install fixed screen (with variable blackout masks?), install Atmos 7.4.4...
But for now, Phase One is about learning, experimenting with screen size, etc. and acclimating my wife to my vision. So far so good.
