Hi,
I just got rid of the hd box from bright-house. Now I only have a cable coming out of the wall that I can connect directly to the tv but I'd like to have the signal into the receiver so I can play it through the speakers. The receiver doesn't have that plug (with a pin in the inside and thread on the outside). How can I solve this problem?
Thanks for all your help.

You would need to run a cable from your "audio out" from tv to your stereo receiver audio input. Most TVs will have either a toslink (fiber optic), digital audio, or analog audio (2 rcas) that would run to your receiver

Thanks it worked. I had to change the fiber optic port on the receiver though.
