Newby here Appericate help removing disc from LV 500 (1 Viewer)

I just inherited a older system as my Mohter has passed .The Marantz LV 500 Laser disc plaer seems to have eatten 2 cd sized disc and is not happy. I have removed the cover to disern this but an not sure how to remove the 2 cd sized discs ? Any help would be wonderful Thank you Jane
