Last Saturday I purchased Paradigm Monitor 11s,ADP 370s and a CC370.
And OMFG I am in audio heaven!
Clarity...Imaging...Tonal Balance and DYNAMICS...get some Kleenex and NOT for crying!
Just listening to music in Staight Stereo blows me away!
Oh and I have a new Yamaha RX-V1400 too.
The THX Cinema is also OMFG and they are not even broke in yet at all.
Of course after having Onkyo DS-TX656 and NHT Super Ones for 5 years the difference is quite apparent.
More coming in a few weeks.

Hey..i'm just shopping for a new set of mains at the moment, and i found a new specialist hifi dealer. The guy that served me was absolutely the best, he knew EVERYTHING. His dad had owned a hifi business since he was 14 and he's been listening, selling, using all his life. So it was good to get someone who knew his shit. He basically invented Paradigm i think..or wish he did, coz he couldnt say any more good things about them!
So after listening to the whole(complete) history of Paradigm, i listened to the Monitor series...and yeah your right, i was gobsmacked to say the least. Blew me away. I'm buying the Monitor 7's, i couldnt really hear $ difference to the 9's so i'm going with that. Cant wait to get them home! Have you got yours biwired? I dont know too much about it, but i heard the difference and it was great..so i'll def be forking out the extra dough. ANd on that note..hail Paradigm!

No I haven't biwired YET but will in the next few weeks.
Jazz sounds so incredible on these speakers.
And I have found that my new receivers YPAO auto cal to be a bit suspect when it come to movies only in that the center sounds a bit thin...but it's not broken in yet!
more soon.

Shouldn't really need to biwire, just replace the jumper with a short run of the same wire you are using for the speakers right now. This will yeild just a little less than running two sets of wires.

Add an outboard amp to that Yammie and those speakers will sing even more, bass response and dynamics will also improve...

THX Cinema mode is re-equalization by the way...you're not hearing exactly what's on the DVD...but in some cases, that's a good thing.

I have the Monitor 7s, CC370 and ADP170s, so I know how you feel :) I too haven't bi-wired mine yet, but I like the suggest above to simply run a short jumper with the same wire.

I have yet to hear Paradigm's, but I hope to change that.

They look like they do their job quite well. Not too soft, and not too harsh, I guess thats good!

paradigms are good good.... no.... really good speakers! i just heard the paradigm reference 20s and the sig 2s today in a direct shootout against my axiom m22s. needless to say, the paradigms are in a league all to their own. the paradigm s2 sounded a tad better than its counterpart, the BW Naut. 805 bookshelf (priced at a measly $2200).
