The first one is a serious, very well-acted (especially by Nino Manfredi) film on the vigilante theme and the second a surprisingly good gangster picture with John Cassavetes, Britt Ekland, Gena Rowlands and Peter Falk; I haven't watched MARCO POLO in over 20 years so take that rating lightly...

The most important film of his I've yet to watch is the Cannes Award winner, SACCO AND VANZETTI (1971).
