HDTV Card question (1 Viewer)

I'm in the process of ordering a HTPC, and it comes with a HDTV card. My tv is HDTV ready and I'm using my cable company provided cable card to watch HDTV.
So am I missing something when I'm thinking that I don't need this HDTV card?

The only thing you would be missing is the ability to record HD programs to a hard drive for playback later and you can't tune encrypted shows like HBO-HD.

Which HDTV tuner card would be installed in the computer?
